Itsy Bitsy Derpy by FollyLolly Itsy Bitsy Derpy by FollyLolly
Tiny pony! So cute. She's about 8" tall... I think the size is really nice for somebody who's pressed for space :>

Derpy is up for sale on my StoreEnvy! [link]
You can also buy a Chocobo or fawn there! So please do! I'M SORT OF BROKE...
Edit: She's sold out for now! but there will be more! So don't worry!!!!!!!

Can't afford the hundreds that some of them go for either.

I'll be restocking what's sold out once I have the rest of the mane six finished. It's a little hard to keep them in stock all the time because I can only finish one every day or two ^^;

Soooooo cute!!! What pattern are you using?

And don't let anypony tell you your prices are too high when there's ponies going for hundreds online ^_^;; I think $45 is more than fair.

It's just a scaled down version of the new pattern I drafted for my big ponies (which I haven't actually gotten to use yet...)

Haha! I was more worried about the price for the size P: I'm a big plushie sort of girl so these look sooooo little tiny to me! The smallest plushie I've ever owned is my one pokedoll... and I was hesitant to shell out the $15 for that XD

I wish I could have the skill to make my own pattern, especially one like this! So awesome!! ^_^

The big thing about the price is the hand made effort that goes into the plushy. It might be an itsy pony, but take it from a fellow plushy girl, it's definitely worth $45. ^_~

So would it be $45 to ask for a Luna in that form? I don't mean an Alicorn pattern but average pony styled body with wings and a horn Luna.

The crown and neck... thing she has would probably add on $5. I don't think I CAN do fancy hooves that tiny @_@ but yeah, $45 without the accessories and $50 with partial accessories.

She's super adorable. If you make a Rarity like this I will probably buy one.

At those prices, I think you might get overwhelmed with orders. Are you sure you are charging enough for your time?

Rarity might be next on my list after Twilight P: I'm not sure what colors I have.... my latest auction TOTALLY fell through so I didn't get to put in the fabric order I was gonna T_T

I'm chargin' about the same per hour as the rest of my plushies. They don't take a TON of time, but for the size I was definitely expecting less >_>; haha. But they're only about the same amount of work as the fawns.

How much do you charge per hour? Your work seems really cheap compared to what I would charge. I feel like you must be under selling yourself! Maybe you just work faster than I do though :P

I shall look forward to seeing mini Rarity when you do get around to her!

I usually end up charging like $10 an hour as a minimum, sometimes if it's really annoying or I don't want to do the project I jack the price up a little though >_> I'm not actually sure what the standard is... I think professional seamstresses usually make around $20 an hour, but I'm a newbie and I'd hate to overcharge when my skills are as limited as they are! ;_;

yeah I charge between $10 and $20. It varies a little. I charge less per hour for beanies because I'm trying to keep them affordable. And yeah when I was a starting seamstress in the theatre I got paid between $13 and $15 an hour and that was mostly for doing things like sewing hems. The more experienced seamstresses got more.

You may feel that your skills are limited, but I honestly think everyone feels that way. Your work is really nice and your newest stuff looks very polished and professional.

Oh gosh, really? Hahahaha that means a lot to me >< I only started making plushies in like January, but I've been practicing a lot because it's really fun! So I'm really glad that's paying off.

Definitely. It's always easy to feel like your skills are limited because no matter how good you are there is always so much to learn. I know a lot of people look at me like I'm some amazing seamstress but then I go and work in the theatre with some of these women who have been doing this stuff their whole lives and I realize that I basically know nothing.

You can really see the improvement since you first started. Your stuff is great now and if you keep going with it it's only going to get better :)

I could just cry. She is absolutely ADORABLE, and I reckon there's DEFINITELY a market for them as pony plushies tend to be pretty pricey - I'd say $45 is incredibly reasonable, and as long you are 100% comfortable with that price you should make more and go for it :)
:heart:

Lovely stuff. I wish I had more money because I'd totally love to help you out!
